An Introspective Look at K-pop Fan Culture

6 years after becoming a K-pop fan, I’ve been intrigued by the many elements of K-pop fan culture, especially those that aren’t usual here in the West. There is some similarities too, particularly when compared to fandoms I was a part of in my teenage years.

This publication takes a deeper look into K-pop fan culture, drawing from my experience being a part of it both at home in the UK, and during my travels to South Korea.
